Information We Collect

• Contact form submissions: name, phone number, email address, and your message.
• Quote requests: name, phone number, email address, delivery location, preferred delivery date, payment method preference, and the products/quantities you're requesting.
• Customer accounts: name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password, see below).
• Admin/staff accounts: name, email address, and a securely hashed password, for team members who manage the site.
• Approximate location from your IP address: whenever you submit a quote request or contact form, we automatically detect an approximate country/region/city from your IP address at that moment (via our hosting provider, Vercel. Your IP itself is not shared with any other third party for this). This is separate from any delivery address you type in yourself, is only an estimate (it can be inaccurate, especially at the city level), and is only captured when you submit a form. We do not track this for casual browsing.

How We Use It

Information you submit is used to respond to your enquiry, prepare and follow up on quotes, arrange delivery, and, if you create an account, to let you see your own past quote requests and speed up future ones. Quote and contact information may also be forwarded to SPR Rajiah Scaff Ltd by WhatsApp or email as part of the normal enquiry process. The approximate IP-based location is used only to understand which regions of Mauritius enquiries are coming from, for internal business planning; it is not used to identify or track individuals beyond what's already in their submitted contact details.

How We Store It

Submissions are stored on the server that runs this website. Passwords are never stored in plain text. They're hashed using industry-standard cryptography (scrypt) before being saved, so even someone with direct access to the storage can't read your actual password.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of essential cookies, to keep you signed in if you have an account, and to remember your admin session if you're staff. These are necessary for the site to function and aren't used for advertising or tracking across other websites.

Sharing Your Information

We don't sell your information. It's used internally by SPR Rajiah Scaff Ltd to handle your enquiry or order, and may be shared with delivery personnel where necessary to fulfil a delivery.

Your Rights

You can ask SPR Rajiah Scaff Ltd to tell you what information is held about you, correct it, or delete it, by contacting us through the contact page or via WhatsApp at +230 5428 8858.
